CHMN350: Apologetics for Ministry Contexts
What do you say when faith is questioned? How do you respond when culture challenges what you believe or when someone you care about is searching for truth?
CHMN350 is designed to equip you with confidence, clarity, and compassion as you engage real-world questions about the Christian faith. This course goes beyond theory, helping you develop a thoughtful, articulate defense of Christianity that speaks into everyday conversations, ministry settings, and cultural moments.
Whether you're navigating doubts, discipling others, or stepping into ministry leadership, this course will deepen your understanding, sharpen your voice, and empower you to stand firm and speak clearly in a world full of questions.
You’ll explore essential Christian doctrines like the inspiration of Scripture, the existence of God, the resurrection of Jesus, and the problem of suffering, not just as theological ideas but as life-shaping truths. You’ll also discover how faith and reason work together to strengthen your beliefs and help you communicate them clearly. More than simply answering objections, this course equips you to engage today’s toughest cultural challenges with wisdom, grace, and confidence, giving you practical tools to defend the Gospel and point others toward truth in a compelling, relevant way.
