JC & KIMBERLY
WORLEY

OUR LEAD PASTORS

J.C. and Kimberly have been married since October of 2004. God has blessed them with two beautiful children: Laiklan and London Grace. J.C. has traveled the country as a keynote speaker – with invitations to camps, conferences, and even speaking at chapel services for the NFL. Pastor J.C. is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).

He graduated from Lee University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies. He has one primary objective whenever and wherever he speaks – enthusiastically share the message of hope and the love of Jesus Christ!

Kimberly is most passionate about her number one priority, which is taking care of her family. She is a gifted communicator as well, but her greater passion is in writing and in working in the creative arts part of ministry. The desire of their heart is to raise up modern-day revivalists. These are individuals so committed to pursuing their purpose – which is the fulfillment of The Great Commission! She also holds her Pastoral Credentials in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).

Gather Together

We gather together weekly and connect to Jesus Christ through the Church in our weekend gatherings.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25

Grow In purpose

We help people discover the strengths of their purposeful design through MOVE Track.
In small groups, we connect with people through meaningful relationships.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-12

Go Make A Difference

We empower people to use their God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of people at GO Church, in our community, and throughout the world.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20

We Love A Little More

The sacrifice of His only Son showed that God places eternal value on every human life! Because of this demonstration, our responsibility (as the church) is to move beyond mere words and emotions and to recognize the eternal value in each person. The Biblical use of the word "love" is intended to elicit action, not just emotion. Therefore, we will go above and beyond in order to show anyone from anywhere just how loved they really are! (John 3:16; Matthew 5:38-48; 1 John 3:16-18)

We Grow Our People

Jesus accepts us just as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way! We work tirelessly to provide every person healthy discipleship opportunities to grow in their faith, relationships, wisdom, discipline, and leadership. (Colossians 1:9-10; Hebrews 6:1; 1 Peter 2:1-3)

We Create And Innovate

We contend to never compromise the message of the gospel, yet we consistently seek to be creative in our methods. Having a passion for creativity and innovation allows us to understand that our mission is far more important than our methods. (Exodus 35:35; 1 Timothy 4:14-15; Ephesians 2:10)

We Do Everything With Excellence

We are relentless about the details and we operate with urgency because we know what is at stake. We strive for excellence in every area within our church. God does not expect perfection, and we will never be a perfect church, but He does expect excellence! (Colossians 3:23-24; Titus 2: 7-8; Ecclesiastes 9:10)

We Are Servant Leaders

Jesus leveraged His power and His position as God's Son to become a servant to even the most marginalized people that He encountered. If our goal is to become like Christ, then we must value serving the needs of others above ourselves. Becoming a servant leader requires us to remember that "It's not about me". (Mark 10:42-45; Philippians 2:3-8; John 13:12-17)

We Steward With Integrity

We know that everything we have comes from God, so we will not take Him or His people for granted. We live this out by the way we steward our time, our talents, and treasure. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10; Malachi 3:10)

The Bible is the Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.”

1 Thessalonians 2:13
“And we also thank God continually, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it, not as the word of men, but actually as it is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.”

God’s Word is the only completely reliable and truthful authority and we accept the Bible as our manual for living. Our first question when faced with a decision is, “What does the Bible say?” We practice daily Bible reading and Bible study. The Bible is the basis for all we believe.

Jesus is the Son of God

John 14:6M
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Acts 4:11-12
“For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them.”

Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and us. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit and will return to earth to fulfill prophecy.

You must be born again

2 Corinthians 5:17
“When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand-new person inside. The old passes away, a new life has begun.”

Matthew 16:25
Jesus: “If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.”

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God’s grace - not human effort - and must be received personally by repentance and faith. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

Believers can be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led

Acts 1:8
“...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”

Luke 11:13
“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

We believe the only possible way to live a Christian life is by God’s power working within us. Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit by simply asking. We seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right.
